Info. regarding Transports in BW.

Steps to install Business Contents and precautions while doing so.

hi gurus,

i had small query regarding the difference between the bussiness contents n created . y v r creating instead der r lot of business contents availabe. will it improve the performance. thanks in advance n will b appreciate with points

Priya,

Every business has its own requirements.if business content satisfies those, then we install business content cubes,info objects,queries etc and use them.if your business required something else which is not there in business content, then we will go for custom cubes and info objects etc. Sap recommends to use business content.end of the day we have to provide the client what they need.

For Example i have a requirement for additional time id field(KZTIM,table p0007),there is no info object related to this field.in order to satisfy the reporting requirements , i have to customize the info cube.

This is what we call gap analysis.
