How to know which R/3 tables send data to which data source fileds

Hi..

How would i be able to know which field of R/3 and which table in R/3 are linked to which info object in ths standard business content.. say suppose LO's data sources. How would i know what tables are sending data to which data source in R/3.. I want to know how they are interlinked..

Goto rsa1->source system..

double click on the selected source system..and right click on the datasource and choose 'object overview'.

The new screen has a column 'infoobject' which gives the suggested infoobjects for each field of the BC datasource.

Almost all datasources show values in this column.

i still will suggest SAP help as the fastest way.

there is no general method. for LO datasources, you can check from the datasource maintenance, from the extract sturctures.

and as a general approach, from the roosource table thro' debugging the code as mentioned above....

R/3 fileds which is used in Datasource it will be connected with base tables,In help.sap.com if you search by giving datasource name it will list out all R/3 fileds and base tables used in datasource..
