How to configure for Unit conversion ?

Do we need to configure in material, in the order?

Hi

You need to define the Unit of Measurement in the material master in UOM tab and not in order. Once it is define you can prepare order in that defined UOM and same way u can maintain the price too.

Hi,

Unit of measure conversions are maintained in material master, open the material master click on additional data tab, and select unit of measure tab. Here we need to maintain the conversions as you like.

For Ex: 0.450 Gr = 1Lb. like this.

Hi,

In material master you need to maintain sales unit along with base unit of measure.

Go to MM02, Sales: Sales Org.1, enter Sales Unit.

The system will prompt you conversion factor for alternative unit to base unit. Here, you maintain the conversion unit.
