SAP Sd + FI/ABAP?

Hi,

i have three years of experience in SAP SD, presently i am on bench, hence i am planning to add some skill, but i am in dilemma whether i should learn other functional module or i should go for ABAP?

can u pls give me your sugestions.

You have to bear in mind that learning ABAP does not make you a programmer. Functional consultants and ABAP consultants work in entirely different areas.

Then why not give ABAP a shot. Personally I grew from ABAP into the functional area (to some extent) and today I enjoy being involved in the whole chain (analyse, design, build, test, roll-out, support, and unfortunately also document...), but not every site/project provides this opportunity.

I personally recommed to go with ABAP, bcoz there wuld b OUT SOURCING flow to Asian countries from West, so u may hv good increased oppurtunities for ABAP.
