Dear All,
I want to create my won BP role as 'reported by' & 'message processor'. So that BP with role reported by should be entered in reported by field only. If BP with reported by role is entered in message processor field it should give error. I tried to create my own role but while saving I got this error message "No standard assignment defined for BP category BBP003"
How can I map this? Please help.
Regards,
Nikhil

Hi Nikhil,
You need to assign a std role to the role category BBP003. You can do so as follows :
Using transaction SE16, Go to view V_TB003.
Select role BBP003, double click it.
It opens a new screen titled Display view "BP role ": details
Here, you can see check box for 'Std Assignment BP Role -> BP role category.'
Check this box and save.
This should mostly solve your error.

Rishu.

Hi Nikhil,
Yes, this can be managed quite easliy. There are 2 ways :
(I'm assuming that the field "Message processor" is a Z field that you have added through EEW or BDT modifications)
1. In the view that contains the Message processor field, register a Z module for Further Checks in the PAI. In this Z module, you can check if the entered BP in the field is actually manitained a 'Reported by' role or not. To find out this, you can use the module BUP_PARTNER_ROLES_GET. Just pass the BP number, and the module will return all the roles which the BP exists in.
2. You can register this Z module in event DCHCK (through transaction BUS7). Again, BUP_PARTNER_ROLES_GET will help to get the maintained roles.
You can raise the error message on the UI using the module BUS_MESSAGE_STORE.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Rishu.
