Hi Harsh,

Basic Config for Asset Projects.....

Define Investment Profile - OITA (this will be done by fico consultant)

Assign Investment Profile to Project Profile - OPSA, in comtrolling tab

once you completed this assignment you will be able create AUC in project/wbs elements. if you have AUC system status means system creates asset in the bacground in IM module which you can see in

cj20n transaction by following menu path

Edit > WBS Element > Investment Programs > Asset Under Construction

here you can see asset no, cwip values which settled perodically on AUC.

create project structure with wbs elements, with acct. assgn. element tick on which you wanted to create asset.

release project & wbs element, after release you will get system status as AUC,

post actuals in projects,

then do perodic settlement on AUC (in this actual cost is settled on AUC)

once your project gets completed settle AUC to Fixed Asset. (in this all capital work in progress gets tranferred on asset)

Sandeep

1. Create a project with profile, to which Investment profile is assigned.

2. When u REL the project an AUC will be created for each WBS. If you dont want AUC to be created at each WBS, use substitution to remove Investment profile from lower level WBS.

3.Keep posting on various WBS

4.When you run a periodic settlement the WBS cost will be settled to AUC, where an AUC was created. An automatic settlement rule will be created. If you are not having AUC at lower level WBS, settle them to higher level WBS and top WBS to AUC.

5.Once the project is complete, TECO it and create completed Asset (Edit > WBS element >Investment Program > Create completed Asset). Specify the Asset class as per requirement. If reqd, multiple Assets can be created from one WBS.

6.Do the final settlement. The cost from AUC will be transferred to that Asset.

7.You can see the Asset details in AW01N.

Hope this helps.
