Is there any way to send alert messages to mobile devices.

I know I can send alert messages to Blackberry mobile devices & have document related to blackberry.

I want to know how I can send messages to any CDMA/GSM mobiles.

If anybody have implemented in their projects, please share the info..

Thanks in advance.

We need to get the service license of the service provider to use their webservice.

Hi,

You can either send SMS to mobile phones directly using web service from MII as explained [|in this blog], otherwise you can create an alert in ECC from MII using the Alert action block in BLS and configure that alert in ABAP to send SMS.

Thanks,

Hi,

You need to check the web service what all the mobile service providers it support. Some mobile providers even allow sending SMS as an email as <num>@<provider>.<com|in>

Hi,

Have you checked with your mobile service provider regarding the email address format you should use?

Thanks,

Hi,

I have entered as below.

"98...... at airtel.in";(entered in word format, because sdn doesn't allow the email address)

Even I have tried using running the url in browser..

I have recieved the message as sent sucessfully. But in mobile didn't
