Customizing screen title

Former Member

Hi,

Is there a way for me to add a customize title on each screen?

As the only way to identify the system that I'm logged on to is by the bottom right hand corner of the screen using SID or hostname, is there a way for me to add a customized title like "Company XYZ Development Server" or "Company XYZ Production Server" on the title screen - and to make it appear on every screen ?

This will make it easier for users to know which system they are logged in to.

I have checked note 205487 but it is only a "welcome" screen and only appear once before log on. Once logged on, the message is not there anymore.

Thanks

Hello Sisab

please pay attention the SAP Note #757964 !

You could have found this note very easily even in the SAP market place.

best regards

Hi Sven,

Thanks for the reply.

From the note, it seems like I have to set it on my PC. Anyway, I tried on my PC and the additional info

didn't appear.

Also, as I have many users, it may be a challenge to change the registry entries of all users.

What I was looking for is customised message, not the standard SID, client, etc.

Hi Sisab

the registrie key works perfectly, also for the new sapgui 710!

Please check this again.

Do you have restarted the saplogon or saplogon pad?

An Customized Message for thies is not possible !

Only this note is possible...

regards, Sven
