Hi,
I am copying a message interface from one namespace to another namespace in the same SWCV. Do i need to copy the message types and datatypes as well?
Thanks,
Deno
Hi,
You can go ahead and copy the message interface. It is advisable to copy the data types and the messsage types too.

Hi,
There is a option to copy them also. If you need all MT and DT for the corresponding MI then iths advisable to do that else you have to create them manually.

Hi Deno,
No you need not copy the datatypes, messagetypes and message interfaces along with the Interface mapping, provided the datatypes and messagetypes still are present in the old namespace.
But it is advisable not to do it reason being. Incase you delete either the message type or the datatypes from the old namespace your message interface will not work. Messagetypes and others still refer to the old namespace except for the Datatypes. So it is advisable to copy only the datatypes and do the rest manually.
