Cache refersh(SXI_CAHE) is disabled

Hi Frndz..

Am EP developer n am new to PI 7.0, i installed ECC 6.0 with PI 7.0 with WEBAS ABAP N WEB AS JAVA also.

And am trying to do a simple Idoc->file scenario but i got struck at SXI_CACHE , when am trying to refersh the cahce with this T-Code cahe refresh options are disabled.

Am doing this with SAPUSER n 000 Client.I gone thru somw blogs n PDF from SDN , but i did't succesed.

Can anybady suggest me how i can reslove this.

And one more doubt i have i.e am using ECC 6.0 so here R3 n PI n EP and BI all servers comes together.In this case how i can check the destinations n port n Logical sys's fro PI n R3 foe .

I created all these only once , so these are enough for both PI n R3 r i need to create deparetly, if that is the case ..plz suggest me how i can differentiate the ECC in to PI n R3.

for sure client 000 is not the correct one

did you do all XI installation and post installation steps?

if so then copy the client

/people/arvind.ravindran/blog/2009/05/23/client-copy-in-piwhy-and-how

and then use XI

if you have any issues check the XI installation once more

as it seems this is what is not done correctly if you try doing anything on 000
