Hi all,
I was trying to configuren http in Netweaver 7.0 engine. I have followed all the steps but https is not working for me. Then in my investigation and in SDN findings i understood that there are no active sockets dispalying in SSL provider service in visual administrator.
I have restarted the machine and i have gone through all the settings for ssl from the scratch again but still its not working for me.
Any one can help me in this that would be helpful to solve this issue.
Regards
Vijay
Hi ,
Please follow the following Step for the SSl configuration...
Go to visual Admin and then Servernode then Services then keystore.
Check that you have Certificate in the SSl crenditial with valid date.if now then you need to Create the certificate .
Then go to the the SSl provide and add the certificate by click on the Add button and select the cetificate that you had seen in the Key Store.
then restart the server and try with the url>>>>>>>https://hostname.domain:5xx01.
xx is the instance No.......
i think it should work.
please let me know the updates.
thanks

Hello Rishi,
I am unsure you have read my post or not. I am having problem in active sockets and I don't see any IP address or host name under active sockets.
How can i activate the sockets or when the IP address will come under the active sockets?
If you are still unsure, Please revert I will frame it further.
Thanks for understanding
Vijay
Hi,
Can you please check these settings.
Make sure SSL Provider service is started on both the dispatcher and server nodes.
You can check as follows:
Start the Visual Administrator.
Browse the tree in the left pane
<SID> -> cluster -> dispatcher -> services -> HTTP Provider
Select the Ports key from the list of properties in the right hand side pane.
Check the SSL port value from the Value field.
Example:
(Port:50200,Type:http)(Port:50201,Type:ssl)
Please let me know that you have these details Maintained or not Dont change any thing..
thanks
