General sales area

Hi all,

I have a sales area 2600,20,00 configured in the system and i want to assign sales doc type fd to it, each time i try that, it throws an error "maintain settings for general sales area first" but this sales area has been existing, what could be the issue? pls help out.

Check in OVAZ whether you have maintained the sale order type to your sales area for which you were creating sale order.

Hi Maureen

As you have sales area 2600 , 20,00 . So first of all check wheather you have done assignments in VOR1 & VOR2 or not. Secondly also check in SPRO->sales and distribution->sales->sales documents->sales documents header->Assignment of Sales area to sales Document types

After doing the following configuration, then you can create the sales order
