document linkage

Hi all,

In our SAP Solution manager system, we have uploaded some documents in transaction SOLAR01. We want to make these documents available to our ESS users as a link. Is it possible to generate a link of these documents and deploy in ESS?

Yes it is possible to do this,pls follow these steps

choose doc in solar01 and goto attributes

here click the GENERATE button

the link will be generated and copied to ur clipboard

so now open your internet explorer and user CTRL+V option to paste the link

the user authentication is required and the user;s can read the doc via the URL which is stored in solution manager

Hi,

You can generate the URL for a document from Attributes page of that document.
