Deactivate BUDG status

Hi Friends,

Is there a way to deactivate BUDG status on a WBS element? Budget was entered for the wrong level WBS element and subsquently released, causing the WBS to have a system status of BUDG. Despite zeroing out the budget at this level and correctly entering/releasing the budget at the higher level, the lower level still shows BUDG. Since we are coding at the lower level, we are receiving an availability control error because it is looking for budget at that level. I suspect that because the lower level has a status of BUDG, the availability control is performed at this level.

Is there a way to remove this status so we can enter budget at the higher level WBS and have availability control at that level?
