Good day
I have this weird thing happening on my production system. I am going to describe it as best as I can.
System details:
I have a SAP ECC6 system.
DB is oracle (10.2.0.2.0).
OS is AIX 5.
We are running ABAP and Java.
Server P595 series
My system is running fine and all of the sudden my Java dispatcher stop working. When this happens you cannot lock onto SAP. You can still lock on to OS level. When I do a topas I can still see <SID>adm process running (This means that my SAP system is still up and running, but no logon???). After 10 or 15 min you can log onto SAP and everything is working fine like it should. In that 10 15 min something is writing a massive core file of 20 to 30GB. The core file is laying in /usr/sap/<SID>/DV*/work. All java components is on patch level 17 except IGS is on 15; highest available patch that is available.
Can anyone tell me what is causing Java to crash and write the core file?
Hi,
Can you paste log of dev_dispatcher, dev_jcontol,dev_server* trace files.
Thanks,
Sushil
