Christy,

SAP has not provided any way to back up just the AE portion. You can ask your Basis person to back up just the NW DB which will contain AE tables or you can ask him to take back up of the whole NW server. These are the only ways you can take back up of AC 5.2 products. AC 5.3, you can take back up of configuration portion of the implementation.

Hi Christy,

You can take the SAPSR3DB schema backup of oracle database by export command from the OS.

If you want the export script then please tell me.

Is Access Enforcer implementation existing in certain tables that can be exported?

Thanks!

A majority of the AE/CUP table start with either: VIRSA_AE* or VT_AE*

It seems SAP has been migrating from the "VIRSA" named tables to the "VT" format in the recent releases.

This is just what I have seen and I don't think this is documented anywhere.

Hi,

The exporting and importing of tables in GRC is not documented anywhere by SAP.

And SAP is not recommending this procedure.

But it is your DBA expertise skills to do this activity without any problem in the existing environment.

Sudip.
