E-mail to external users via Information Broadcasting

When I e-mail a web report via Information Broadcasting to users in our company, it works fine. They receive the e-mail in their Outlook inboxes without a problem.

However, when I try to e-mail the same web report to an external address (such as hotmail), nothing shows up. I do not get any error message when scheduling the broadcast, but nothing shows up in the user's inbox.

Is their some setting I ned to do?

Thanks,

Kamini

Bhanu,

I clicked on the Set button next to Internet, and Yes, my comopany name is listed in the Address area. In fact, it is the only entry in that space.

Should I add anything else?

Thanks,

Kamini

Hi Kamini,

Actually that is the reason why you are only "allowed" to send the emails to an email ID of that domain. If you want to send to external email ID (like Hotmail etc) you need to remove that entry.

Hope this helps...

Hi Kamini,

In transaction SCOT, double click on SMTP and then in the dialog box click on Set against Internet. Is your company domain mentioned in the Address area box?
