Hi Mrinal

cProjects is useful in project management. Its functionalities include project planning, scheduling, staffing, cats, hr integration etc.

xRPM is used for resource and portfolo management say for a group of projects. Portfolio planning, centralized resource management, capacity planning, risk based selection of projects, etc can be done in xRPM.

A good presentation on xRPM is available in the link http://www.gyansys.com/Docs/xRPM__PPM__4.0_upgrade_at_Eli_Lilly.ppt

http://www.gyansys.com/Docs/ASUG_2004_xRPM.ppt

Apart from that you can go through help.sap.com for detailed help.

Hi Prasad,

Thanks for your reply and links..

Can you please inform

whether cProject or RPM can be integreated individually with ECC i.e I intend to know cProject can be integrated with ECC without RPM and vice versa.

Should RPM and cProject should be in the same server.

With regards,

Mrinal

Hi Mrinal

You can use cProjects without xRPM also.

Both cProjects and xRPM can be integrated with ECC.

Generally xRPM requires Enterprise portal so it is installed in a different server.
