Hello experts,

Requesting your help for the below explained issue.

We have one particular project for which we have the follwing

a) in the the budget profile for the project, the availabitiy control( AC) activation type is '1' which means the AC status should be activated once the budget is assigned.

b) budget is already assgined.

The problem is the project still does not show the 'availabilty control active' status.

I also tried CJBN.to reconstruct AC.which too dint help.

Can you please suggest , what need to be done.

Thanks and regards

Sandeep

HI,

Confirm whether you have defined Tolerance Limit or not.If not then define atleast one Tolerance Limit for the Budget Profile.

SPRO > Project System > Costs > Budget > Define Tolerance Limits

Availability control is always defined for a particular budget profile, and you need to define a tolerance limit for at least one business transaction group for the budget profile. Once you enter a budget for a project with the corresponding budget profile, the availability control is activated.

Hi,

ok

try deactivating AVC and then reconstruct project info.sys.

again reactivate AVC and reconstruct project info. sys..

i am not sure you have to reconstruct AVC db or not.

try if this works!

Hello Hari,

When i click extras --> AV info...it says AV active for the project.

But when i try to activate AV from extars> AV> activate..it gives the message as for WBS elements ( many) budget already consumed.

this is in t-code cj30.

Hello Hari,

The issue is eventhough the availabilty control is active ( confirmed from CJBN, CJBV) , it does not show ( AVAC) in the project structure.

The message in cj30, extras--AV..is for many wbs elements , budget already consumed.

Please suggest if you have anything on this.

Hi Sandeep,

I think your project Availability Control is Deactivated.

For Activate Availabilty Control (AVAC) run transaction CJBV

enter project no & execute then back.

check in CJ20N transaction,

you will find AVAC status is activated for your project also check at all wbs element level.

Hi Sandeep,

Please check the Budgeting Profile, whether AC is activated on Overall or Annual. According to that you check in CJ30, whether Budgeting is done or not.

If the settings in budgeting profile are correct and still facinig problem, try to activate the AV manually for your project through CJBV and check the AC status in CJ30/CJ31 tru Extras --> AC.

Hope this will help you.

Regards,

Hari.
