Deletion of Query Views

Hi,

1)How can the Views in a workbook be deleted?

2)Users should be able to create views but they should only be able to save it to "FAVORITES" section.

Could anyone please let me know what are the setting changes required for that.

To delete the Local views (Save View as Jump Target), you need to get to the Save View as Jump Target dialog for the Workbooks, all the views will be listed there, select the views which you want to delete and hit on the Delete icon on the top toolbar.

Hi,

1) from bex tool bar Open->saved Views>search and locate your view>context menu>delete.

2)If you want allow users to save views only under their favotites...

by maiantaining roles (authorizations) yoy can achieve this..

Hi,

I tried to delete it,But I am not able to find the view.

The issue is I saved the view by clicking as "Save view as jump target".

So I want to delete this view.

Hi,

It will be saved in Browser.go to Bex Browser,locate your view which is saved as jump target...once you delete from there,you will not see it under 'Go TO'.

But when logged in again it resurfaces.

Is there any other way of deleting view.

let me know clearly what are you trying to do? how did you create that and where are you deleting it from?

i don't see it under 'GO TO' once i delete it from Bex Browser.

try by saving after deleting that view from Browser.

hi,

If you have selected the query with option Save View Global option you can select the view anc click on Delete ICON to do that.

If you need to delete any other Bex item the use Tr. Code RSZDELETE.

Please let me know what exactly you need to delete.

Hi,

But I wanted to delete a Views in Workbook.

For example if a workbook has views,you can see them by going "GO TO" and you will find the views in the workbook.

I want to delete these views.
