one PO two deliveries from two different shipping points

hi,

sap gurus,

one PO two deliveries from two different shipping points.

eg: one PO is created for 1000 quintals of xxxxx material. out of which 600 has to be delivered from delivering plant 1000 and remaining from plant 2000 - not frequently its a special case.

is there any possibility in sap

Hi Balaji,

If you use standard SAP, simply you need to create two line items for the material with different shipping points and do the delivery as per your requirment seperately for each shipping point.

just create two lines at order with 2 ship points....

its very straight and simple unless you have a special requirement apart from this.

let me put in this way i want to create STO for that:

one STO PO will be having only one single supplying plant from where the goods will be delivered,

and u can have more than one receiving plants.

here the example refers to

eg: one PO is created for 1000 quintals of xxxxx material, which in standard SAP it will be delivered by only one delivering or supplying plant, and is there any possibility of which 600 has to be delivered from supplying plant/delivering plant 1000 and remaining from 2000 supplying plant- not frequently its a special case.

is there any possibility in sap

yes, create the two line items one is with 600 qty and assign required plant , second is 400 and assign required plant in PO line item, check in shipping tab of the both line items, as u need to delivery two shipping points so change the shipping point from shipping tab from PO.

Make sure material is extended to all the plants which ur processing.

Hello,

In STO , the shipping point is determined and based on that the route is selected while creating PO .

Try the following :

1. Do not maintain shipping point determination . Create PO and go to item --> shipping cond , maintain shipping point .

2. Check the above is working. If it works , then enter your shipping poin manually and create delivery
