How can we create new header text for Standard transaction VA42

In VOTXN for sales document header create the text type and assign it to your sales document type

1 Select the radio button Sales document Header in T code VOTXN

2. Go to the Text tpe tab> Create the Text type

3. Assign the text type to Text determination Procedure.

Assign the Text determination to your Document type. in VOV8

Go to VOTXN, Select sales document header and click on Text types.

Create Text ID u2013 (New entries Ex: V001 u2013 Header text)

Now click on Back button (F3)

Click on Change (from initial screen of VOTXN)

Select your text procedure Click on text IDu2019s in procedure (from dialog structure)

Go to new entries and assign created Text ID with Access sequence

Assign text procedure to your sales document.

Saad,

As Suggested by Ms Rithvika , Go the VOTXN and check the text types for contract.

Then go to Sales header and check whether the same text ID's are here as well.

If the ID's are there, however text is not getting copied.
