Is there a way to exclude stock while creating planned orders

Hi All,

There is a requirement that we need to release the demand plan to SNP, execute a planning run in which stock on hand and R/3 production orders should not be considered for the creation of planned orders. For eg.

There is a forecast of 200 items,

there is confirmed production order of 50 and there is a stock of 50. Ideally it would create a planned order for 100.

but in this case the requirement is to create a planned order for 200 if the capacities are available.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks,

Nalin

According to me production orders are anyway not reflected in SNP.

Stock can be excluded by keeping the integration model of stock inactive.(exclude those materials from IM of stock).

Hi Nalin,

The fresh receipts during planning run will be planned based on ATP categories & category groups which are defined under customisation. If we exclude stock on hand while calculating planned orders by removing the ATP category attached to it, fresh receipts will be planned excluding stock
