Dear All
I have one business scnerio as follows
I have Created one user status for WBS as Z-Ustat
This user status contain Following
each project is going to approved by chairmen(proposed by plant head)
!)proposed for approval
2) approved For execution
3)droped By business cell
4) carry forward for Next year
in my project First level WBS element is always ONE i stricted in Project profile
for above user status i linked in Project profile. now my problem is
when ever i'm proposing the WBS i need to propose each WBS element(need to change user status in every element) the same thing happening for approval
i required to Collective approval
in the project first level WBS element always ONE.if i'm proposing first level WBS element all the lower level wbs element should change the use status
pl suggest me the Solution
Hi,
You can update user statuses from level 1 to all lower levels. by using following menu path.
enter CJ20N transaction.
see on left side of screen, click on Project Defn. then,
see on right side of screen,click on WBS Element Overview buttuon ( Yellow Triangle Buttuon)
select all WBS Element (ctrlshiftf3)
Edit > Status > User Status > Set > here you will get list of User Statuses, double click on reqd. user status continue. This will update selected user status from level 1 to all lower level WBS Elements.

Dear rajesh h,
just open project on CJ20N & expand all, select the top levl WBS or Proj definition.
Go to Menue EDIT >Status>User Status-->Set ans Pass on then apper the available user status, select the one u need to set & save the project.
