R/3 4.7 UPGRADE

Hi Gurus ,

We are planned to upgrade our R/3 server to ECC 6.0 with AFS 6.3 . We have a installation and upgradation DVD S. But i have one doubt .

kindly tell me which upgrade DVD mater

and DVD export we want to use . Because there are two sets of DVD

avaliable with us .

1. DVD NW 3.0 SR3 UPGRADE MASTER and UPGRADE EXPORT

2. DVD SAP ERP6.0 SR3 UPGRADE MASTER and UPGRADE EXPORT .

Kindly advice which one i have to use upgrade our R/3 server to ECC 6.0

for AFS 6.3 .

If it's an ERP system then you need to use the ERP Master Upgrade.

If i installed successfully ECC 6.0 with all ADDON , Then i want to install the Industry Specific component AFS . So kindly tell it is possible to install AFS 6.3 directly into the ECC 6.0 system or we have to install AFS 6 first , then AFS 6.3 delta upgrade . Which option i want to choose to install AFS 6.3 .

ECC-DIMP is part of ERP - the problem is not this Addon but the necessary CRT (conflict resolution transports) that need to be import together with the AFS Addon - depending on the patchlevel of SAP_APPL as in the given note.

You should use ERP6.0 Upgrade Master, if the current instance is in WAS platform the first we need to use first one as well.
