doc flow when creating a PR

hi friends

i have created a materail master and attached a document in the basic data 2.

now when i am creating a PR for the same material, the doc floe is not happening, i mean doc is not flowing into the PR.

where as when i am creating a production order, for a material in a materail master with doc, the document is flowing into the production order....

why this is happening, ???

anything check i have to do, as i require a PR aslo to carry the doc....

This document that you have attached to Materail Master will not appear to PR .

The Document in SAP DMS are linked Object Specific.

Let me give you example.

Suppose you have pump P109 in you Company.The Drawing of Motor Say DRW1000109 will be linked to Materail P109.

Suppose you are buying Pump P109 the You will Link Pump Specifications to PR Item P109.

So you are attaching document to two different Objects.You can say it as Purpose Specific.

If automatic flow is given any junk data will pass to PR.Generally That Happen.
