Netweaver trial software installation problem.

Hi i am posting this first time so if any mistake in reposting sorry.

i am trying to install NetWeaver 7.10 trial version, on my lap top

Win VISTA, 2 gb memory, 31gb free HardDrive space. i tried to install several times

but no avail.

here is the log file. if any one can help me i would really appreciate it. thank you.

Try to install on XP/windows 2003 if you have a option.

CheckServicesAction, wrn, CheckServicesAction(bean17): Service SAPNSP_00 is not available, retry after 10 s

seems SAP<SID>_## is not active try to start it manually and try...

Thank you for your reply.

i have finally got it to install but when i start MMC the server color turns yellow instead of green.

i did try on XP home and it was giving different error, any way i am getting defferent problem now.

unable to log in through GUI.

I dont know how to start manyally. SAP<SID>_##.

This is the message file there were many of these this is one of the two files that were .dat

Did you check your windows services?

in windows services SAPNSP00 is listed as STARTED and start type is automatic.

The only services that are disabled are 'NetTcpPortSharing', 'RemoteAccess' and 'Mcx2Svc' windows media center extender service.. everythiong else is either "AUTOMATIC" OR "MANUAL" start mode.
