MTO and Sales Order on Block

Hello Experts,

Is there a way not to generate MRP production request for only MTO items on Blocked Sales Order..?

As of now we are reserving through ATP all items (MTS and MTO) as soon as the Sales order is created even though the Sales Order is on Block.. This works great for our business needs but MTO materials should only be reserved when the Sales Order is taken off Block.. is that possible?

Please advise..

Approrpiate reasons for rejection can be applied on MTO items so that it does transfer the requirement or generate any material requirements.

Could you please provide some additional details.. Where in config I need to setup so that MTO line items on Sales order on HOLD does not generate MRP requirements..

Hi Aziz,

Path of RfR

sales and distribution->sales->sales documents->sales doc item->define reasons for rejection

Select or create a RfR with NRP as flagged. It will stop requirements to be generated.

Confirmation can also be blocked through delivery block (with 'Conf' as flagged)
