Languages isntallation

Hi friends,

I was in the process of implementing the languages, during the implementation of languages, i am getting the following error ,

I had a look at the note 626272 - Termination in the JOB_RSTLANUPG phase and implemented the same, but still the same issue,

Make sure you have enough space on /usr/sap/trans.

Check ST22 for dumps.

Hi MArkus,

There is nearly enough space in /usr/sap/trans.

There are no short dumps nor any transport logs apart from the SM37 job log.

You have a problem while disassembling the language files to be imported. The cause can be a full filesystem, missing permissions or a corrupt file.

Hi Markus,

I have checked the file system it is not full, the permissions are fine. The language import is stuck, i have deleted the pat file so that i can reimport again. But the language import is stuck.

(it shows the yellow symbol)

I couldn't find any logs to delete it . When i try to reimport it is not properly done it show the yellow symbol.

Can you please help.

You still have a problem during disassembling.

Try the following:

- start transaction SPAM

- open "extras -settings"

- enable "create new data file"

then start SMLT again and re-import.

If that does not work I suggest you open an OSS call.

Please check the DIR_Trans and the trans path and the files at the unix level.
