ICNV - not all tables shown

Hello all,

During the ERP non-Unicode upgrade, when we invoked ICNV, not all the tables were displayed, only two small ones were shonw.

But when it get to PARCONV_UPG phase, more tables were processed and one were the large table DBTABLOG - which caused this phase to run for more than 4 hours.

1. Any idea why?

2. Can we manually add DBTABLOG in the ICNV even if it was not displayed?

3. Any log list which will show all tables that will be process in PARCONV_UPG, that way we can include it in ICNV to reduce PARCONV_UPG phase?

Thanks,

Terry

Hi AC,

DBTABLOG contains tables where technical setting is set with 'log data changes'.

We did not delete any log or batch. Also the system was a production copy.

Thanks,

Terry

Hi,

There is a phase that determines candidate tables for ICNV, once it runs then those tables are included when you run TX ICNV, not all tables can be incrementaly converted so I don't think it is a good idea to include more than the ones you see there.

Did you delete old logs and batch jobs? I`m not sure if this table is for logs but by the name looks like it is.
