Hi all,
I've ERP 6.0 (no EHP installed) with SAP_BASIS 700 SP 18, can I upgrade to kernel 7.10?
What is the rule to the kernel ? Same version as SAP_BASIS can be higher? Is there any oss note with this info?
Regards to all
As per as i know you can only upgrade the kernel of same version that is 700.
If you would have applied EHP3 then you could have upgraded the kernel to 710.

Hi
Check out the following SAP notes:
1) Note 138704 - Supplying kernel releases with patches.
2) Note 1051559 - 710 Support Packages require a minimal SAP Kernel
Basically you need to determine the downward compatibility of your kernel release with the R/3 release.

If your components are 700 so should be your kernel.
