Change of group in contract partner

Hi,

How can we change the grouping for a business partner(contract partner) through FPP2.

Please guide.

Hi Vashishth,

Its not possible to change the grouping of a BP once it has been created.

The grouping determines the number that gets assigned to the BP. Since you cannot change the BP number once it is assigned ( it is a key for table BUT000 and key fields cant be changed) , hence, BP group too cannot be changed.

Please check technical documentation of the field "BU_GROUP" in table BUT000

It says that, it can not be changed once you create it
