.net connector throwing err

I am using the .net connector for visual studio 2003

I have been generating proxy classes with no problems for quite some time now. Yesterday, I made an addition to my rfc proxy. Today, I went to add one more rfc to the collection and now I am getting the following error:

to create a proxy directly from an SAP system, you must install a java vm

process must exit before requested information can be determined

No installs were made to the server... tried rebooting it. Repairing the .net connector installation.

fruitless..

Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this?

Being that I am of the persistent type... I decided to try repairing the .net connector installation again.

This time, when it was finished with the repair, it told me to reboot...

and now, all is well again.

check the system logs... any security updates...
