Hi,
How to differentiate b/w plan nad actual data.
Is that value type or Version ??
What should be the value for that and how it gets populated ??
Regards,
Hi
The best practice would be creating a RKF with reference to a characteristic value 'Actual" and another RKF with Reference to the value ' Plan"...

Hello Tapan,
There are many ways in which data in BW can be identified as either Plan or Actual.
1. Using Value Types. The general standard value types are '010 - Actuals', '020 - Plan'.
2. Using separate key figures.
3. Using versions.
The method you would use, solely depends on the customer requirement and the specific needs.
There is NO ONE right way of doing it.
