Adaptive RFC host & user parameters

Hi, is there a way to change the host & user parameters given when I create the adaptive RFC modle at first time or i need to create a new one only to point to another server ? thanks

Hi Issac,

When you import the credentials you use are not used during the execution of the RFC.

The user credentials used are the ones entered in the JCos being used by the RFC. You can change the details of JCos by using the Web Dynpro Tab in Portal (Web Dynpro-> Maintain JCo).

Hence, when you transport a WD DC, the application looks for the JCos of the same name. But, the JCos can point to some other SAP backend.
