Dear Experts,
How ATP controlling in availability check and wt is the role of ATP in availablity check?
Regards
ishikesh
Dear Ishikesh,
ATP stands for Available to Promise. When there is availability check with ATP logic, system takes the stock which is currently available in the warehouse plus planned incoming stock minus planned outgoing stock. And after calculating this system checks if there is sufficient qty available or not.
Moreover, while doing ATP, system also takes RLT (optional) into consideration, i.e. Replenishment Lead Time.
In this, system tells that how long it will take to make the requested del. qty. available. And availability check is always done at the end of RLT only. You maintain this replenishment lead time for the material in Material Master - MRP 3 view.
Hope you will understand
