R/3---PI---BI SCENARIO

Hi,

I am having datasource in R/3 system where we can view in RSA5.

My problem is I need to import this datasource into xi through IDOC/RFC and map to BI

How can I achieve this becasue wht will be the idoc's for any datasource.

pls help me

HI Raju,

To fetch data from datasource , you can go for generating proxy and write a report program to fetch data from datasource.

After fetching data from DS you can forward to BI RFC.

HI Raju,

Hamja's approach looks correct to me.

YOu can have a client proxy created in your R/3 system.

Use the function module: RSAR_GET_DATASOURCE to get the data source and then forward that information to PI.
