IDM 7.0 installation issue

Hi All

I am installaing IDM on a VM ware server and the IC database is being installed on different system.

During installation of database ,we are using MS SQL 2005 enterprise edition ,when i am running the

installation script mxmc_install ,its giving me error that

Login failed for user sa

Login failed for user "mxmc_oper"

Using MS SQL server 2005 as a named instance.

Even created the user also ,but still its throwing same error.

Pls suggest in case i have missed anything.

It was actually a host name issue.We are using MS SQL named instance ,but finally resolved it.

But now i am facing some another issue.While opening IC Monitoring or IC Workflow page ,its saying page not found kind of error.

Smarty ,php and permissions all checked .everything looks Okay .

Can you help me in figuring out what could be the issue?

There are many things which could be causing it. Run through the install steps again and make sure everything is set correctly.

That's usually what I do.

Ajay,

My immediate guess is that you have the wrong password for the SA account. Also make sure that the SA account is a "Mixed Mode" account.

Also have you verified that you can connect to MSSQL via a client such as "SQL Server Management Studio"?
