Variant Configuration: Can U Pls Help?

Hi all,

In the Sales Order for Configurable Material, when I am clicking on "Item Details: Configuration" Tab (Near to Item Condition Icon), the Characteristics Description and Characteristics Values are displaying as BLANK when I use my SAP Login ID to Create/Change/Display the sales order.

But when I open the same sales order using one of my colleagues Login ID, I can see the Characteristics Description and Characteristics Value in the sales order.

Where is the user specific control for that like we have in CIN for customer master CIN Data Tab appearing in XD01/2/3

Hi ,

In The Variant Configuration SPRO there is a definition of Authorization 002 for Characteristics and Characteristics Values which are assigned to object .which are further assigned to roles.

So It might be missing in ur case .
