Unable to launch Enterprise Service Respository

Hi Frnds,

When i am trying to open ESR and ID its giving error that Unable to launch ESR,unexpected error

i installed correct version of JDK,

unexpected exception:java.lang.Exception

please help me on this, i read some blogs also but i am unable to find solution.

Hi Raja,

ur sever side jdk version and client side jdk version need to be same

For PI71 you need Java 1.5 as you may know.

If this is not the cause then go to the details tab of this error message and post its content. Normally there is more informatrion than just that a java error has occurred.

I insttaled JDK1.5 UPDATE 18,i am getting java.lang.Exception

i dont think this is the pre-requisite...i am having java 1.4.2_13 and i am still able to open and work on PI7.1

Hi,

on index page goto administator > java web start administrator > re-initialization and force-signing.

This worked for me
