Hi - working at a multinational client who want to create what to me seem like very large contracts in SRM 5 and ECC6 - by very large I am talking 10's of thousands of lines. In addition, they want the option of maintaining (at the very least) scale pricing at company and location level against the items.
In a design review meeting recently our SAP Consultant suggested that there may be a performance limit of around 2000 lines in SRM 6/7 - possible fewer in earlier versions. However, OSS were unwilling to comment claiming that it was a consulting issue.
Does anyone have any experience and/or guidance on this issue please?

Peter - thanks for your reply, I appreciate you taking the time.
I had seen this thread and the note when I was investigating prior to posting the question. Unfortunately, with one suggestion being a maximum of 999 lines and the other that it is a trade-off between items and conditions it isn't the clear steer that I was hoping for.
It does look as if like most things SAP there is nothing clearcut...
