Promotion

Hey SAP friends,

I need your help to map a scenario please.

My customer's marketing policy is based on promotions.

One example of promotions used is:

Suppose that an item A costs 10 dollars.

When a customer buys 100 UN or more of this item A, he gets a discount of 2 dollars for each unit (UN).

How can I fulfill this requirement ?

Should I create a sales deal (tcode: VB21) with a particular condition type? Which one?

Thank's in advance,

Bahia.

Hi

First, You need to make the settings in the Condition type before creating a Condition record.

For the Condition Type K004, in condition type details screen (V/06), make the following settings.

Under "Scales" tab,

- make the "Unit of measure" as "BLANK".

- Make the "Scales basis" as "B" (Value scale).

In the "Manual entries" field specify value "D" (Not possible to process manuaaly).

In "Control data 1" tab,

- "Calculation type" should be "C" (Quantity).

Now create the Condition record for Conduition Type K004.

Specify the Material, give the rate of discount 2 Dollar per piece.

Go to the scale, specify value as 100 UN then 2 Dollar per piece and save.

After meeting your requirement make the settings/changes in the Condition K004 like earlier.

It works.

Hi bahia

You use sales promotion but make sure you are maintaining condition type in your pricing procedure and maintain condition record with scales then your requirement can be fulfilled
