Hi, Pls mention the steps involved in PS from creation of Project to creation of WBS Element, which is basis to create production order in PP? Pls mention the transaction codes?
CJ20n: for project creation.
u will have 3 section in the screen
Left 2 sections, and right one section
the top of the left section is where the operative project, which will be created
the botton of the left section is: the templated for making WBS, activities and activity elements.
from menu, go for creat new project
give the project coding, as per the project mask
Creat a WBS, which is as similar as project definition.
Now the project definition and top level WBS area ready
NOw start making 2nd l;evel WBS, by poulling from temeplates area to the top of the left section where the project structuring is being made.
this is how a project definition and WBS elements are created

Hi,
By using CJ20N transaction first you need to create Project Defn., WBS Element then if your business scenario required detail level structuring then create Network, Create Activities (Internal, External, Cost & Service), Create Activity Element etc.
Once your WBS Element is ready you can directly create Production Order,
By using CO10 transaction code against WBS Element.
And another way you can create as Mr.Muzamil said.

Hi,
Create a project (Proj def,WBSE ,Network Activities) in CJ20N.
Attach the Material Component to Network activity in same t code and release.Run MRP in MD51 or MD02 or MD01 system will create a planned order on the basis of Material type. Convert planned order into Production order.
