Hi

Error: Balancing field "Profit Centre" in the line item 0001 not filled.

Entering Shortfalls in ARE-1

I am getting this when I entered the Amended Qty. in the ARE-1

Dispath Qty. : 25 EA

Amended Qty. : 23 EA

Differential Qty. : 2 EA

Excise Duty for the Differential Qty. 56 INR

the necessary entries are entered in the Utlization Tab

Document Check is O.K.

But when I save the Document I am getting this error. Give me the solution.

Check whether the Profit center is maintained table MARC and MSEG Table

If you define document splitting criteria based on Profit Center and if your billing document contains multiple line items with different profit center, this type of error will come.

To check this, Go to IMG Path -- Financial Accounting (New) --> General Ledger Accounting (New) --> Document Splitting --> Define Document Splitting Characteristics for General Ledger.

There check whether the mandatory check box is selected for profit Center. So check in your billing document, whether any line item does not have profit center.

Profit Cetre is there in the billing document line item (billing document contains only one line item)

Profit centre is there in both Tables
