Livecache restore on HP fails

Hi All,

After restoring a livecache on target server I am getting errors completing the upload part of the program "/sapapo/om_lc_download_upload' ending in Short Dumps "DBIF_DSQL2_SQL_ERROR" and in the knldiag I find errors as below:

Unable to find library '/sapdb/LCT/db/sap/'

Unable to find library '/sapdb/LCT/db/sap/'

Unable to find library '/sapdb/LCT/db/sap/'

The source was on HP-PARISC 11.11 and target is on HPIA64 11iv3 OS and SCM4.1.

Please let me know if anyone has seen this or if any workaround can be used to get around these errors. At present I am stuck with all the users also locked out.

Hello Seshadri,

You need to follow the note 632357 to run the liveCache copy from the HP11.11 PARISC to HPIA64.

The Homogenous liveCache copy using backup/restore will not work in this case, it also pointed in 457425 in a) of section

"Reason and Prerequisites".

Please follow the SAP note to do the System Landscape Copy for SAP SCM :

886103 System Landscape Copy for SAP SCM .

If you have issues with liveCache/MaxDB please create the post thread at MAXDB/liveCache forum:

Thank you and best regards, Natalia Khlopina
