Field Explorer Marked Used but can't find field in report

I have a table I want to remove from a report. I have found and replaced all of the fields except one. I cannot find this field anywhere in the report, including formulae, record selection, group selection, sorting, conditional suppression, etc. Is there some way to find where the field is used?

try exporting the report to the report definition format, it may help but doesn't give you all the info you need.

If you are using XI R2 or newer, you can right click on the object and choose "Find in Formulas".
