Windows AD authentication - Reset password

Hi,

If we reset the password of the Service account for WIN AD authentication, do we need to take care of any additional steps? or just changing the password in CMC will do the trick?

It depends on the role(s) of your serice account. You need to reset the pw for any service, the CMC > Auth > AD/LDAP/NT and you may have to regenerate your keytab file if using vintela SSO. Thanks for the document.

We are using Kerberos authentication. So, if I understand correctly just changing the service account password in CMC would take care of it.

I'm not sure, you need to verify what account is being used for what. Kerberos means at least the CMS is running under an account and you have one in the CMC, maybe more?
