Best way to collect the IDOCs with out BPM

Hi,

What are the ways to collect the IDOCs with out BPM ? We need to send IDOCS =>XI ==> FTP, We expect XI to collect the IDOCs and sed those ones to FTP.

1. Sending to Http Port / file port?

2. IDOC packaging. As the receiver is FTP, documentation says it may give un predictable results.

3. What are the other options?

yes, both ways are possible file is better then http in my opinion

IDoc packaging with EhP1 is the best option

but you need to have this enhancement package 1

so I'd say:

1. packaging with EhP1

2. file

3. http

File port is very good option to avoid BPM..Ref

With PI 7.0, easier option would be the use file port.

As mentioned, if you are ready for 7.1 EhP1, Idoc packaging would be the standard solution.
