Hello,
Is it possible to use Siemens DIRx Directory Server as LDAP system in CUP?
It is able to handle LDAPv3 queries.
In the configuration guide only the following solutions are listed for LDAP type:
MS Active Directory, SUN ONE, Novell E-Directory, IBM Tivoli.
Does this setting in CUP LDAP connector configuration modify the behaviour of LDAP connector? Or this entry is an info only field.
Regards,
Peter Nemeth
Peter-
Microsoft, Sun, Novell and IBM have gone through validation testing with their LDAP's for SAP. I know Siemens have not done so yet, so it is not supported.
You can open a CSS message so we can start the validation process in the future.

Peter,
Ankur is right. As of now, CUP does not integrate with Siemens. It will take some time for SAP to implement this. In the meantime, you can use NW functionality where UME connects to Siemens LDAP. I think it should work. In this scenario, you can define your Siemens LDAP as data source for UME on which AC resides. Now, select UME as data source in CUP. This way CUP will be able to populate all the user details through UME.
