Hi,
There is one case need your advice.
CASE:
One basis transported wrong change request to QA system, e.g., he should transport DV3K900011 to QA system client 100, but he made a mistake to transport DV1K900011 to QA system client 100.
My question:
1. How to recover his mistake? What's the best solution to solve this kind of mistake?
2. If this error occurs in production system, what's the best solution to solve it?
Please advise. Thanks.
James

To resolve, you would need to do as Rishi stated, create a new transport to reverse the changes.
The same new transport would need to be applied to Production if the wrong transport was sent there.
More importantly, to prevent, proper Change Management should be implemented as soon as possible.
Hope this helps.

Hi James,
It is not always possible to make up the damage done by wrong transport in the system. The recovery depends upon the kind of content in the Transports.
For Example, if you have some security objects in the wrong transport, So you can always import the orignal role again in the system and can recover the change.
If you have some correction for any report in the system, you can recover the old report using the version management tool or by again importing the transport request having the old report.
The best recommanded way is to reimport the modifed object in the system using the correct orignal transport.

Create a new Change request in DEV, record all the changes to be reversed in QA or target system and import this request in target system (in your case QA).
Hope this will help you.

first of all you need to know what this transport was for and what all changes it did.
then you should have second transport to revert those changes.
if in case this happens in produvtion you need to get i restored for the backup
